Student Support Services

At ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â, our mission is to help students succeed. We recognize that each student comes to our campus with their own set of unique strengths and challenges. The Student Support Services team is here to help students play to their strengths, and overcome their challenges as they make important life and curricular choices necessary to achieve their academic goals.

Dean of Students Office

In support of student learning and success, the Dean of Students promotes the growth and development of all students through campus-wide programming, one-on-one meetings, and the delivery of appropriate support services. We are here to answer questions, advocate on behalf of students, foster a safe, inclusive learning environment, and mentor/advise students on the community college experience.

Student Parent Support

The CCAMPIS Program (Child Care Access Means Parents In School) at Mount Wachusett Community College is a federally funded program that provides child care and before and after school subsidies to qualified students who are enrolled part-time or full-time at any of the four ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â campuses (Gardner, Leominster, Devens, and Fitchburg). Disability Support Services

Students with a diagnosed disability are encouraged to contact the Disability Services team to learn about services available to them, including academic coaching and accommodations.

Counseling Services

Our counseling staff are available to assist students with personal, social, academic, educational, career, and health concerns in a safe, confidential atmosphere. Learn more about our Counseling Services.

Monty’s Market Food Pantry 

Our on-campus food pantries are located in both Gardner and Leominster to serve our students. Visit Monty’s Market.

SNAP – Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (previously called Food Stamps)

The SNAP program helps eligible low-income households to buy food. In Massachusetts, many low-income college students also qualify.

Recovery Services – SOAR

SOAR is a volunteer resource founded by students in recovery from substance abuse which acts as a liaison connecting the recovery population of the region to the college and vice versa.

Transportation

Our campuses are all an easy commute by car and are served by the Montachusett Area Regional Transit Authority (MART) bus system.

Veterans Services

ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Veteran Services was established specifically to address the unique academic, financial, physical, and social needs of veterans transitioning from soldier to student. Staff are committed to providing Military Service Members, Veterans and their families with quality assistance and guidance throughout their academic career at ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â.
